Once through the door, Sookie wrestled with the urge to just hug Godric tightly. On one hand, vampires didn't really touch casually, on the other, he was sad.

With a mental shrug, she clasped him briefly to her chest, not noticing Eric yet. "I'm so sorry," Sookie breathed.
