slayersidekick: (Not a good idea to piss me off)

The feed starts accidentally, as Willow is walking through the forest. She's grumbling to herself and, for a few minutes, it's hard to tell what she's saying. All that can be seen is a jerky, upside down view of the forest from where she's holding her tablet as she walks.

"–understands. Everyone thinks–
"–not bad! –trying to help! It's not my fault–"

After a while, her grumbling subsides and she continues onward for a while. And that's when it hits.

"What–?"

The tablet drops to the forest floor, nestled so that it catches nothing of Willow's actual transformation except for a sharp cry of surprise. And the treetops above. But, it's over as quickly as it comes. And when she speaks, she sounds much calmer and far less bothered by the situation suddenly. Disturbingly so. She kneels down to pick up the tablet and now Taxon is treated to a view of black hair. Very black. Not red.

"Look what the cat's dropped. Guess the hamsters wanted their mice to see what's coming."

Look at this, Taxon. Willow's finally moved the camera so her face can be seen. She looks as calm as she sounds, frighteningly so, and her hair and clothes are completely black now. She'd look like a gothic billboard if the situation weren't suddenly so dire. She stands up and turns toward the street.

"Faith? Long? Do you guys think we could meet? There's something we need to talk about." Lots of things to talk about. And by talk? She really means fight. There's a score to settle. Who says magic can't be used for good?

Willow starts to move then, still smiling amiably and looking far more pleased than she should for that outfit. She has one last thing to say before she cuts the connection.

"I'll see you later, Taxon. Be good for the cat's playtime. She doesn't like mice that are bad."

So be good for her, or she might just make them behave.

[ooc: Planning post is HERE! If you have questions, feel free to ask there or PM me! \o Wait for the subthreads to get up here and then it's all good from there! Oh, and I forgot to mention, she'll have a cloud of atmosphere ionization around her, though at least this time, her hair will be safe. So, there will be a general area of no signal around her. So her position won't be perfectly pinpointed, so our search party has a reason to keep going, but they'll have a general area to work with, too! They can pretty much use any section of Taxon they want and/or keep changing it as she walks. \o]

With the weather being this warm and snowfree, it would be stupid to not take advantage of it by lying on a beach somewhere. However, the lack of a beach is a big problem and so Lexi finds herself stripping down to her bikini at the lake in the forest which is the next best thing. It's quiet here except for the expected wildlife running around, hopping between trees, and running just underneath the soft grass of the forest floor. But no human or vampire contact is what Lexi craves right now as she flips a red and yellow towel out onto the moist dirt of the lake's edge in a particularly bright patch of sun.

This is a prime spot of real estate. How long has it been since she's felt the warm sun on her skin without the accompanying sizzle that plagues so many vampires? To be exact, over three hundred years. To be more general, too damn long. Everything's set up for her little moment in nature's spotlight--tablet tossed to the side but not hard enough to turn it off, an icy thermos of A positive blood, and a small radio playing 80's glam rock at full blast. All is good except one last thing. Lexi lies back and holds up her left hand, staring at the little blue stone that adorns the silver ring on her middle finger. How pretty it sparkles in the sun as the light catches the cut edges of the lapis lazuli gem. Pretty, but utterly useless. The Taxon sun is faker than Tila Tequila's tits and with Lexi being deader than a doornail back home, she finds this ring nothing more than a piece of decoration much like the mood ring on her opposite hand. It's still annoying as a reminder that she can't have what she really wants: her life. Lexi yanks it off and throws it aside angrily, just barely missing the actual water. The ring lands in the muddy edge with a soft plop that nobody else but Lexi can hear.

It's almost as satisfying as an orgasm.

[ooc: Feel free to bug her. That's why I put her out here lol]

The weather change is just about the best thing Sookie's experienced since coming (back, apparently) to Taxon. It's not like home-- and Lord knows what it says about her that she'd do just about anything for some oppressive Louisiana heat right now-- but it's sunny and warm enough and that'll do her just fine.

She's laid out on the lawn chair in her little lawn-- only one around, and sometimes it's better not to question things, like how in God's name their kidnappers made her a lawn-- soaking in the sun when a thought occurs to her and she reaches to the ground to grab her tablet and flip it on, resting it on her stomach.

"You know, I just got to thinkin' all of us here oughta try and get to know each other, at least." She stretches a little, then looks up at her porch consideringly. "I don't know if any of y'all like barbecue, but if anybody feels up to it, maybe a bunch of us could throw together a dinner sometime soon. Let everybody eat and figure each other out, I guess."

The tablet moves as she sighs. Back home, Sam'd set something like this up, at Merlotte's. God, she misses them all so much it aches. Having Jason takes some of the weight off, but the lack of familiar faces is slowly starting to make her a little crazy. She summons up a bright smile, aware this pause has gone on just a bit too long. "Anyway, if any of y'all're interested just let me know. Oh! And I'm Sookie, in case we haven't met."
