"There's a tram?" DG repeated, bemused. She'd been expecting a teleporter at the very least. Or glass tubes that could take you from one spot to another in no time at all. The science fiction movies she had occasionally watched with Popscile - usually after her robotic mother had been baking, because you needed something, even something monochrome and sort of cheesy, to watch while eating brownies - had a lot to answer for.

"It's about time things were easy for us," she conceded. Whether things would continue to be easy once they arrived at the 'Northern Island' was a different matter.
