"Yeah, I'll ask." Rose answers. She pokes through the ingredients for a minute, completely immersed. "Doctor doesn't really believe magic is real. Sort of a science instead. Guess I can see his reasoning here. It's like chemistry. You add a bit of that, a bit of this. Things react and boom. Only probably not a literal boom." She's not easily squicked out. Right now she's shaking a bottle of bird beaks.

Of course she doesn't know about the magic that just comes from a person.
