After much deliberation, Aximili decided that the best design for his tunnel system would be a wheel around the city with spokes going in toward the center. That would provide tunnel access to as much of the city as possible. He has finished the "wheel" and is now working on a "spoke." He digs out an exit to the surface between the Northern Island and the workshop (not that he knows what they're called) and with a great deal of relief, demorphs from the foul Taxxon morph he has been using to dig. He wants to inspect the area aboveground to see where the next tunnel entrance on the "spoke" should be.

Aximili trots toward the nearest street, looking for a place with real residents; it had become clear to him that the majority of the humans who walked around the city were nothing more than automatons, perhaps unintelligent androids. He was trying to provide a tunnel system for the people who needed it. He looked and felt very out of place on a street. It must be perhaps the second or third time in his life that he has walked on a street in his Andalite form.

He is pleasantly surprised to see a sign for a mechanical workshop. Perhaps he can commission help for his tunnel project. Aximili opens the door and peers inside without crossing the threshold. «Hello. Is anyone available for assistance with a project?»
