She nods. "It was helpful, especially when I first came. But... they're almost all from my future, so it took a little adjusting. I was suddenly younger than everyone, and they remembered things I didn't."

There's a bit of sadness underlying this last: knowing that she won't be there for those future memories still hurts, but she's been trying not to give in to self pity on the subject.
