For a few seconds, Cordelia actually misses Xander - he'd been in Taxon when she arrived, and was sent home only to be back and disappear again after a few months.

Except now, it seemed like he was really gone for good.

"Yes, very much possible." Her amusement dissipates as she remembers the very possible danger they could both be in. "But I suggest we get out of here, first." Cordelia thinks about bringing Anya to her apartment, but changes her mind quickly - better take her to the hotel, for now.
