"I wish," Paul says with heartfelt sincerity. He squints at the screen.
"You're in the hall? Back inside home, wherever it is you're staying," he says brusquely. "They can't get into homes they don't have an invitation to-- but that's homes, not just halls."
He shifts, trying to get comfortable and keep the pressure on his neck and keep the tablet steady at the same time.
"Anyway, yes, they're real, and... and I'm sorry I haven't mentioned them yet. Taxon's... there's so much to try and tell people, and..." I didn't want to scare you? "...guess that one got missed."
