The problem was, of course, that for Alexis life was that easy. Or had been, until she came to Taxon. It also probably didn't help that she had first hand experience seeing that persistent asking did get people to spill their life stories to her dad. The fact that Richard Castle was both a best selling novelist and extremely irritating didn't get processed yet.
