It's honestly nothing personal, more her just attempting to understand how she should behave here. She honestly knows there is a chance people aren't what they appear here, and it tends to make her a bit more paranoid then she is use to - for that, she is sorry. (give her time; she'll warm up a bit quicker then most)

A small nod of her head in understanding, as she then offers him a small smile at the corner of her mouth. She knows she perhaps has only met or come across a handful here, but having someone from home can only be a good thing. "That can only help you here I guessing. Hopefully you can find a way home then. Or at least get some more answers then what I’m coming up with."

A small crinkle of her nose and she is quickly debating on her next words. "Because from what I've noticed as of late, people really don't seem too worried about going home here." Which has her sounding clearly surprised, because who is a fan of being kidnapped and forced to live a life they didn't create?
