Again, it hits, but the difference this time is that she's trying to use the headbutt to do something else to throw him off guard... something that never gets a chance to go off as the light burns into her, searing a hole straight through her. The wound immediately begins to heal, but for a few tantalizing seconds, Ashley cries out in pain, her eyes momentarily changing back to their brilliant blue color.

The pain is all she can think about and she drops to her knees, letting go of her adversary as she does so. If he gives her a second longer to heal, she'll get back up and attempt to swipe at him again, blue eyes turned to red once more.
