Sky had gotten clever with the hatch. Trying to second guess what questions to ask to get the right answers of use. It wasn't entirely effective but she got a swimsuit (in her size, with lightning print to it), a water-logged radio console, a pair of sunglasses (circa 1960), a volleyball net (no polls), and one Tiki necklace (plastic - made in China).
It took some work for her to get to the beach with the supplies but she managed it dragging most of the stuff behind her. First was her clothes. While she was aware modesty was important, given the state of things she didn't actually care who saw her change. Happenstance was the only reason she was alone on this part of the beach (and her desire to start work alone to think). Changing into the new clothes and wearing her large pirate shirt over-top. It was still wet but it would dry in the sun just as easily strewn along the beach with the rest of the pirate costume. And while she wore it that would protect her from the sun.
Next was work. It was slow going at first, but she disassembled the radio and put the various parts out to dry. She needed them to not short out from the water they were unfortunately crafted with. Then organizing which parts were too gone to be used, which parts were viable, and which viable parts were of actual value to her.
Which leaves the girl there surrounded by equations drawn in the sand staring at the Tiki necklace. How to turn this into an antenna or amplifier. If they were transported far enough from the others this wouldn't matter, but... there was no logical reason to assume a distance was involved, just separate... rooms. Sky went through the various antenna arrays she's run into on Earth and tried to come up with a design she could replicate here. Drawing a schematic from memory and then as quickly erasing it from the sand when she decided it wouldn't work.
On the beach, drying in the sun. Working on PROJECT TABLET.

Stressful.
