You'd think she'd be the first one off the ship, that's how much Gwen really wanted to be off the ship. But in spite of herself, she lingers, watching the passengers depart and noting one particular absence.
She smiles to herself and turns back away from land. It doesn't take her long. The last time she found him, he'd been asleep too--in a comfy chair in the library. It seems like a long time ago. Unfortunately, there isn't any poor library patron to blame for waking him up. Gwen has to do it--by gently pushing him in his shoulders with gloved hands. In case that doesn't rouse him entirely, she says, loudly:
"For someone who doesn't like the sea, you're taking your sweet time getting onto land."
