004: you've got a friend in me | Location: chez dream team | for Arthur
They had planned on going out for coffee in the morning – giving them time to just talk - but now with things the way they were, she honestly didn't know if that was still the plan. The idea that the projections could just react the way that that one did last night, had left her more shaken then she would have honestly liked to admit and in turn, only left her more sleepless then she was before the series of texts and events.
So instead of staring out the window, waiting for yet another projection to attack, she found herself in the kitchen, quietly humming a french tune (god, she wished it was the actual kick), attempting to busy herself by making them muffins - or something that might resemble a muffin. Which in all honesty, was a feat in itself, as Ariadne just didn't bake - the state of the kitchen (it looked like a bomb went off) was actually proof enough of that fact. But that didn't matter, as it kept her busy for most of the night and into the early morning. Which in turn, allowed Arthur to do what he needed to do without her constant nagging for some type of understanding, just knowing they would finally have a chance to talk when the time was right.
