John did notice the lizard and grinned. "Viv and Al will get a kick out of your friend, if they notice it."

He tapped his beer bottle against Dexter's. "Welcome to my house, then. The blonde with the shiny boots... Completely responsible for all this." He glanced at Dean and grinned more. "Except the music. That is this guy's fault."
