The last few months have taught Faith a lot about how badly she misjudged the guy. Sure, Giles has the stiff upper still going, but there are some dark corners lurking behind that proper reserve. Maybe it's a little twisted, but she likes him better for it. Faith's always been a fan of dragging people down to her level rather than rising up to theirs.

"Better than hanging back ho--" Her face goes blank for a moment. Oh, no way in hell is she calling the apartment 'home' sober. No way in hell. The Mayor-- and how she felt about him, still feels about him-- aren't on the table without a hell of a lot of liquid courage and a little more privacy. "Back in the apartment."

She shrugs, tossing back the rest of the beer in one long swallow and slamming the bottle down on the conveniently located table with a little more force than neccesary. "Five by five, G."

Remember this dance, Giles? Give her a second, maybe a raised brow. She'll quit avoiding.
