Metody narrows her eyes - and then takes a deep breath, and settles her hands down, one on top of the other.

Patience. The best response to someone being grating is patience. Be soft, be calm, be like a cloud that absorbs the momentum of whatever is thrown at it.

Everything passes.

"Everyone I know chooses their actions," she says quietly. "But - perhaps you don't. That is a shame, that you are so constrained."
