[Location: Willow's Apartment] Um...who are you?
For Willow, the past two weeks or so had been an emotional rollercoaster. Finding out what she could become, and that all of the people she cared for knew about it, well, that was a giant knife in the chest. Tara had been a welcome comfort. Even though, sometimes, Willow felt that Tara looked at her weird. Well, not weird, but peculiar. Like she was trying to judge Willow. See if she was going to break down crying or go all Witches of Eastwick. Which makes no sense now that Willow thinks about it. None of the witches were evil. The Craft would probably be a better comparison thing. Tara was afraid that Willow'd turn into crazy Nancy. Drunk with power, using magick all willy nilly.
Tara had spent the night, and she had curled up against Willow. Their arms wound around each other, clinging like a lifeline. Willow slept alright. Not exactly peacefully, but Tara had a calming influence over her. Willow felt Tara shift, turning herself into the little spoon and Willow tightened her arm instinctively around Tara's waist.
When morning came, Willow stirred, grunting in her sleep. Her nose was buried in a head of hair and she sighed blissfully. Inhaling deeply, her brow furrowed a fraction as she tried to register the smell. Tara hadn't smelled like that the night before. Willow cracked an eye open, looking down at the body she was extremely snuggly with. When she saw that the head of hair was brunette, not the dirty blonde of her girlfriend's, Willow's eyes snapped open. "What the hell? Who are you?" Willow gasped, pulling her arm away and drawing back. She was just wearing a pair of boyshorts and a camisole, so Willow felt a little on the naked side.

She pulled out of the bed once the other woman awoke, standing in her long white satin night gown. Her hands went to her hair and her eyes quickly looking at her wrist to find the bracelet where it properly should have been. Apparently it was her that was displaced.
This certainly wasn't her room.
"A question I might have for you as well." She looked back at the woman in front of her. "But as it seems I've somehow invaded your space? I am Helen Magnus. Mind telling me where the hell I am?"

"Where's my girlfriend?"
no subject
"I am afraid I don't know that, miss. I woke up here just as confused as you are." Helen half turned. "When I went to bed I was in my own room."

She threw the covers back, crossing over to her dresser where she'd set the tablet the night before. Halfway there, she stopped, crying out in pain. It felt like ragged knives were being dragged against every nerve ending. "Goddess!" Willow sobbed, falling to the floor.

"G-God!"

"What's happening?"
no subject
"Roll over! Let me see."
no subject
"Goddess, it was all over. There wasn't anything that didn't hurt."

Then Willow had a thought.
"Maybe it...it's one of those weird things that happen to people every once in a while."

"I'm Willow, by the way," Willow said, giving a small smile.

She sat back on her knees. She ran her hands down her face for a moment then rubbed them together. "I've yet to experience them myself. It seems we have found ourselves in the middle of one... where we are unable to be too far apart without hurting each other."
Helen looked at the bracelet on her wrist. "Perhaps because of this."

"They're not exactly fun. My friend Xander had a bunch of women chasing after him. And my friend Buffy was turned into a robot. Not good times. Funny, occasionally. But not often."
Willow looked down to her own wrist, her brow furrowing. "Maybe? That's a definite possibility."

Helen offered a smile. "How about we get you dressed and have some breakfast."
no subject
"Getting dressed would probably be a good idea, yeah," Willow nodded, moving to stand slowly.

"Goddess, I'm sorry!" Willow cries out, stumbling back to stand beside Helen. "I wasn't thinking."

"It's... quite alright. An accident, no harm done." She smiled and joined Willow, her hand on the woman's shoulder for a moment to comfort her. "We'll simply have to coordinate."
