[Visual/Location Aeryn's Quarters] ~La lala la la...Close to you~ Aeryn Sun and John Everton
With John sticking close to her, they avoided the pain of separation. while she grabbed her Tablet. She was only just learning her way around and to use the thing, but it seemed as though this was as good a way of finding information as could be had.
"This is Aeryn Sun, I am here with John Everton, we are experiencing pain anytime me move too far away form each other. Does anyone know anything about this? How to stop it?" She panned the tablet over to the human that he might wave, and possibly find his blond and pets he'd mentioned earlier.
"Mind this while I get dressed, will you?" Aeryn handed John the tablet while she began to change out of her sleeping clothes and into her leathers and tank top. Growing up on a crew ship she had no real issues of modesty in times such as these. If he chose to look away, so be it. She was not in view of the tablet so nothing was being broadcast that might bother others.

"This Charlie, is she your lover?" Blunt? Yes, yes she was.

"I'm here, John. I'm here and I'm fine." It was half true anyway.

Then he pitched his voice for Aeryn. "Yes, she is. Better than I deserve."

"You humans form such strong attachments." It's alien and frightening to me unspoken. She'd felt the power of those emotions, and the grief that comes with them.
no subject
Those strong human attachments didn't make it any easier, either.

"You aren't at home. I'm not sure if that's better or worse."

Aeryn would not force him, not like she could after what he'd shown of himself thus far. Her gaze finding the woman and offering a nod to her. it was all she could muster in greeting.

She didn't answer his comment about which was better because the answer would have made her start shaking again. It was better, much better, for everything to be strange and new. Being in their bed had been worse.

"So, where is this house of yours? I know nothing beyond the Sanctuary."
no subject
She actually reached out for him as though somehow she could feel him. It took a lot not to tell the stranger he was with to take care of him. She wasn't ever going to sleep again. Not at this rate.

After giving Charlie a last smile, he handed the tablet back to Aeryn. Then he leaned over her shoulder and got the tablet to bring up a map, his house a red dot. "Right there. Think you can navigate?"
no subject
Aeryn nodded, with the directional beacon she could find her way there easily enough. Aeryn waited long enough for him to gather whatever he might need to and together they exited her room at the Sanctuary, coming out into the early daylight of the sanctuary Square.

She looked down and oriented them towards the handy little blip that had become her guide.
"You?"
no subject
"I'm sorry you're here. This isn't home. Not for any of us."
no subject
Long story short there, very long story, very short.

"Do you know a man named John Crichton? He is here as well." Eyes did not lock on him expectantly for an answer, but her toned carried something personal in the question.

A bit too sudden in her response, it was that same distanced Aeryn.
"It's not necessary, I spoke with him yesterday. I was only curious."

If she was more nervous about talking him or being ignored by himwould be impossible to tell.

"What would you do if she died? How do you go on?"

For her it had anyway, and why she was opening up to a complete stranger was a wonder. Sometimes being thrust into a situation with someone unknown made people reveal things.
"There was a situation in which there were two of Crichton."
The recollection stirred painfully in her mind, causing a wince.
"The crew was divided, and the Crichton I was with died."
