Dexter just doesn't pay attention sometimes. He's pretty darn observant when he does, but that's not always the case. That's how a falling picture frame sprained his shoulder last year, how everybody but him saw Kelly Preston's limo drive past the Commons last summer, and how he'd almost washed Roy with his laundry. More than twice.

So his tablet is on and recording and he hasn't noticed. Some kind of upbeat song is playing in the background, the words unintelligible from here, and Dexter is kind of grooving and mouthing along with them as he cleans Roy's tank. Nothing too theatrical. Next to the tank, Roy is hanging out on top of some palm leaves.

Squirt, squirt, squirt, wipe.

Yeah, dude, I saw it. I don't know if anybody else did. [If that makes you feel better, which it probably doesn't. Billy is trying SO HARD not to laugh but there's some snerks escaping.]

Dexter, once he can brain properly again, leans over and turns the music down to a more acceptable level. He fidgets for a second before going to pick the bottle up off the botom of the tank. All the while, Roy's watching him.

"Well, that's... really embarrassing."
