Levi is a newbie in Taxon, and he's exploring, because that's what vampires do best. Other that the whole blood sucking and stalking in the night thing. Vampires do that pretty well, too.
But forget that off topic bit of rambling; Levi's wandering the streets of Taxon, and it's closer to night time than day time, because even if he can walk in the sun, it doesn't mean he wants to. The sun makes him uncomfortable, and Levi simply does not do uncomfortable. Either way, it's getting dark, and Levi's walking around Central, near the Sanctuary building, because he figures hey, if he's going to explore, why not try to find Shane, as well?
He's relatively sure he isn't going to, but just in case. And besides, he wants to meet the locals. Ethan was all dandy and everything, but Levi fully intended on investigating these so called 'other vampires' and also, finding likely candidates to invite to the soonest basement party he could come up with.
He might also be vaguely considering eating one of the people wandering outside without bracelets. Levi had already tried everything to get his off-- it was tacky and ugly, and they could have at least made it glitter or something-- to no avail. But Ethan had told him the people without the bracelets were okay to eat.
Levi is standing in the middle of the street, arms folded, watching the Extras go by, and pondering this dilemma. He doesn't realize his tablet has gone off again, filming his thoughtful expression.

ffff nuh uh <333333
"Three months." Levi repeats that, and doesn't sound pleased. He doesn't want to be stuck here for three more days, let alone months. "I am. I arrived a day or so ago."
I see your hearts, and I raise you... *~*<3333333333333*~*
"Were you hunting?" While Godric didn't exactly approve of hunting as such anymore, the extra people in Taxon were not exactly 'people'. As such, he didn't ask with the intention of discouraging him for the sake of the extras, but discouraging him for the sake of his taste buds. Had the extras been palatable, he would have fully encouraged any vampire to focus his or her appetites on them, rather than on their fellow captives.
holy crap, I don't think I can beat the asterisks and tildes
"I was, but I was informed that these ones taste of sawdust," Levi replies, sounding vaguely irritated at that fact. He's not looking forward to the blood-packet life. "It seems my options for a decent meal are severely limited in this city."
I wiiiiiin~ /o/
"Fortunately the hatches will produce anything you'd like." It wasn't much of a comfort, but he did put a certain subtle emphasis on the word anything. Godric wasn't sure if Levi functioned in exactly the same way he did, but the fact that the hatches could create fairy blood and other types of supernatural fare was one huge plus for Godric and Eric.
fffff /confetti
Instead, he got Ethan. Lucky him.
"Mm, that's what I've heard. Blood that tastes like plastic is not my idea of fine dining, but I suppose it'll have to do for the time being." Sigh. Levi is behaving. He hates behaving, but he'd rather do that than be staked.
/bows and tearfully thanks the academy
"Yes, his name is Eric." It occured to him that they hadn't even introduced themselves to one another, but before he could bring it up, he was thrown by what Levi said next.
"...Plastic?" Godric's brow furrowed a little.
no subject
"Eric? Oh, I believe I've met him." That tall blonde one, Levi thinks that was his name. He's remembering that he hasn't introduced himself around this point, as well, and he's about to, but Godric's question stops him.
"Yes, plastic. Perhaps it's just me, but that's what the packets of blood I've been taking from the hatches forcibly remind me of," Levi replies, almost slowly, like he isn't sure if they're on the same page or not.
no subject
"Ah," Godric thought he understood now. "Like hospital blood bags? We've been hatching ours in a glass." Godric had no particular complaints about the taste. It was genuine enough, in whatever variety he liked, and the proper temperature and consistency. He suspected it was actually the plastic from the plastic bags that Levi was tasting, unless it had something to do with their slightly different brands of vampirism.
no subject
"Yes, those. I hadn't even thought of the glass idea, to be honest," Levi says thoughtfully. "The blood always tastes decent enough, but there is always that plastic undercurrent to it. I'll try the glass idea, thank you."
There's a subtle difference in the way that Godric's scent comes off as in comparison to Ethan's, and Levi is curious enough to question it.
"There is something different about you. You and I are of the same species, and yet, we're not, at the same time. It's difficult to explain."
no subject
"You're very welcome. The hatches take some adjusting to, but the possibilities seem to be thankfully endless." It's worth it to think outside the box. He tilts his head very slightly, as he's prone to do when considering something seriously. "It seems there are a number of different varieties of vampire in existence throughout various worlds. We're quite similar, I think, yet we have our slight differences."
no subject
"I've yet to experiment fully with them, but yes, it seems we are only limited by our imaginations," Levi replies, slanting a half-grin Godric's way. The following theory does make him think, though.
"That seems to be the case, yes. I wonder how far those slight differences go." Pause, then, in a tone that can only be taken as joking: "For instance, you aren't one of those vampires that sparkle in the sunlight, correct?"
no subject
"Definitely not. We burn, of course, except in Taxon's sun." Godric considered for a moment, and then countered with, "Can you turn into a bat?" He almost managed to make it sound like a serious question, but his amused expression ruined the effect.
no subject
"I'm afraid not. I'm not afraid of garlic, either." Okay. Levi likes Godric.

"I do have to admit to having a cape, though it isn't quite what you'd see in Dracula."
