07 [visual / location: martha's surgery] I'm such a dubious soul

Fitz finished washing his hands and glanced up at the bathroom mirror to find the Doctor behind him, leaning against the door jamb and smiling. For a few moments all Fitz could do was gawp as he studied the familiar features - the tousled chestnut hair, the bright blue eyes, the cravat and the velvet coat. Even after six months apart he knew with absolute certainty that it was the Doctor, and that they were all finally get off this miserable rock.

"About bloody time you showed up," he said and turned...only to find the doorway empty. He darted over to it and poked his head out to look up and then down the hall, then glanced at the mirror again.

The reflection showed the Doctor standing beside him, giving him one of those patient looks that meant the Time Lord was growing impatient. Slowly Fitz turned to look at the empty hall again, then back to the mirror. No Doctor now, just his own baffled self looking back at him.

"Christ," he muttered, then upon deciding the odds of him going mad were about even with those of the city playing silly buggers with them again, he took his tablet from his dressing gown pocket. "Has anyone noticed anything peculiar about their mirrors lately?"

About damn time everyone was let out again. [ he means of the Sanctuary ] Though I'm not eager for an encore, so I think I'll find somewhere else to stay.
