It's almost ridiculous how badly Levi needs to go find somewhere quiet, somewhere private, but he ignores it for now, breathing evenly and attempting to act as collected as possible. Just because it's midnight doesn't mean the party's over. He still has to be a good host, finish the night out.

"... Happy new year, Godric," Levi replies, letting out a sigh and finally making himself look up at the older vampire. There's a small smile on his face, in any case. Levi doesn't blame Godric for anything, not at all, and he wants him to know that.

This makes him realize, yet again, that he misses Shane fiercely.
