Charlotte sat at an empty table in her apartment, nothing on the glass top but a single, empty, wine glass. Even her kittens were out of sight. There's a whole lot of nothing but an increasingly morose blonde.
"I am bored. I haven't been bored in...twenty five years? At least. This is ridiculous."
She looked over at the tablet, so she looked straight out to anyone viewing. "What are we supposed to do here? My job is effectively moot in a place like this. There isn't even a hamster wheel to run on."

She grinned. "All the best discoveries are essentially tripped over."

"With a bit of luck, someone'll stumble across something pretty soon. Last I checked stories weren't supposed to involve large amounts of sitting around all the time. Who'd want to read about that?"

She shook her head. "And on that note, I should go and help my Archie unpack boxes or whatever it is he wants me to do."

"Go on, then. Captain Haddock'll be wanting a top-up right about now, anyway." He nodded towards his own mug. He thought he could use one himself, and though Jack was far from a frequent drinker he was a slave to Ianto's coffee.

Still grinning, Charlotte cut the feed and then went to dial up a pair of short shorts for cleaning at John's.
