Okay, I don't know what's going on with the tablets or the hatches, but, um... is there anyone out there who can tell me where the makeshift bunkers can be found? And also with carrying the food to the bunkers? There's... um, quite a lot of them and I would appreciate anyone's help very much.

Well, that sounds good. Thank you, Wesley. I didn't especially want to head there on my own anyway. But- um, what about your buddy?

Illyria? She can come along, I suppose. [Slight awkward pause as he realises something.] If that doesn't disturb you too much.

No, I don't mind. [and she really sounds like she doesn't] We had a talk and- well, I'm feeling better about some of those things now.

How did she take the whole...buddy thing, by the way?

Not well. As you can imagine. She's a primordial god-king, they wouldn't dare to toy with her again, we have no power to stop her doing exactly what she wants. And so on and so on.

Eventually she agreed to 'abide'.

Well, that's about as good as we can expect, I imagine. I'm kinda surprised she agreed to it, but that's good. We'll know if something happens to her, and I sorta feel like the aliens really do only take people away when they're alone. So maybe we can avoid that a little.

Her thought processes are still largely unfathomable and alien to us. However, I do believe she is endeavouring to assimilate. It will take some time, if it happens at all, for her to adjust fully to her limitations.

Hopefully the adage there is strength in numbers will prove correct in this case.
