With a sigh, Kaylee turns on her--Spencer's--tablet, and does her best to offer a smile up to the citizens of Taxon. While Spencer's body is looking plenty tense (at least she's made it back to the ranch, that's gotta be a plus), his clothing has probably never looked so relaxed. T-shirt, jeans, no vests or collars or ties...

"Alright, this is Kaylee, callin' for a sound off. Who's who? And does anybody know where Malcolm Reynolds, River Tam, 'n Tony Stark might be findin' themselves in all this mess?"

Kaylee wrinkles her nose, the result of which looks more like a disgusted Spencer than a confused Kaylee. "Seems some people're wakin' up in different bodies...you're still you, yeah?" She hopes at least somebody got out of it, besides Kate.

"'Fraid I don't know a Wesley, but..." It got the vampires too. Great.

"Seems that way. And she's," Kaylee points to Illyria's body, "she's in yours?"

Spencer gawked at her casual attire.

"Is that.. was that in my closet?"

He knew he had one pair of jeans, stuffed somewhere towards the back.

"Yeah. I uh. I'm sorry if it's not somethin' you'd normally wear. Couldn't seem to keep myself in one of those stuffy collars for too long."

Which is why she'd gone back to the shirt she'd woken up in. Spencer's got a very similar taste in clothing to Simon, she's noticed. Kaylee can't quite figure out how either of them can manage to stay comfortable.

So the vampires are getting switched, the demons are getting switched...nobody's safe from this thing. "And she's got yours?"

Mal turns on his tablet, and can't help but glower at the screen. Waking up in a tree in some random piece of woods is making him a little put out. "Right here, Kaylee. Still workin' on gettin' back to Serenity."

"C-Cap'n?" She isn't sure whether to laugh or choke, and ends up settling for something in the middle. "Well, I'm here. Still ain't found River, though..."

Tony turns on his tablet and waves at Kaylee. "Hey, it's Tony. Looks like I'm DG right now." He's more weirded out about this than he's letting on, but he also figures it's nothing a good drink or two can't solve.

Seeing as she's been holding back from laughing at poor Mal, the giggle that escapes her really can't be helped now. From Spencer's body, though, it sounds a bit creepy. "DG, alright. That mean she's you?"

"Cordelia here. Seriously, I think I just won the Worst-Body-To-Be-In award."

Which is definitely the only way to look at this whole mess they were in.

"Might have to give you that one. Least you don't have to worry so much over what's gonna happen if you drink too much?" It's supposed to be helpful, or encouraging, but with how awkward she feels in Spencer's body...he words just aren't feeling as right as normal.

"I'm Anya, but in Lorne's body." Anya frowns a little. She's getting more used to the male thing, but it's still very, very disconcerting.

"Anya in Lorne, and vice-versa. Got it." At least, so far, it seems like these are only two-person switches. Should be easier to figure everyone out and track them down.

Kate picked up her tablet, grinning. This was definitely a view of Reid she'd never seen.

"Looks like I dodged a bullet somehow."

The large forehead and general man-ness of the person on the tablet doesn't exactly scream 'River Tam,' and somewhere inside River understands that, but she's still assuming Kaylee will just know it's her without proper introduction.

"It wasn't intentional."

"I know, mei mei, just. Where you at right now?"

[ angel hasn't left serenity...mostly because figuring out walking on top of getting whatever river's head keeps doing (please, make it stop) under control is near impossible. one thing at a time. the voice on the tablet is most definitely river's, but it's not river doing the driving. ]

River's body is...where it should be, I'm assuming. [ ...that sentence sounded better in his head. or did it? he can't tell. sob how does river mange to function? ] She isn't in at the moment.

"Please tell me that's Angel in there, then?" Kaylee hopes it is. There are very few people in this city she can think of that might do halfway okay as River. "You need a hand? I can come up."

Say hi to the new boss, a bit different from the old boss.

"Hello Kaylee," Glitch said with a slight wave. He'd made his way back to Kara's room and changed into the most sensible outfit he could find: a pair of jeans and a sweatshirt emblazoned with the familiar stylized S. Presently he was getting used to ignoring gravity and sitting cross-legged in midair. "It's Glitch, and I guess I'm borrowing Kara."

Wait what.

Kaylee doesn't think she's ever seen Kara so covered, and she can't help the twitching at the corner of Spencer's mouth. It's just so hard not to laugh at that.

"...well, we had been talkin' about movin' some of the stuff in the shop around..." She's teasing, of course. Unless Kara okays it.
