002. [ Visual ] Home Sweet Home.
Sheppard had decided that even though it was nice having his old room back in Atlantis? It was also a little weird. Everything was where he had left it. Including the golf set, the skateboard, and even that copy of War and Peace. His closet apparently came too, which was nice.
Atlantis's central tower wasn't in Taxon so he had taken the ear piece off. At least he hadn't seen the tower himself yet. Though if they had managed to get all of Atlantis here, Sheppard would have been the first to think things were fishier than they already were. Maybe it was a bunch of replicators from either Pegasus or the Milky-Way? Or maybe this was all in his head and he was actually dieing on some medical table in Atlantis because of that Wraith feeding on him so many damn times.
He flipped the tablet on. The clock on the table next to the bed was set onto the Atlantis Standard Time... but judging by the sky out the window it was late at night.
"Anyone up at this crazy hour?"

That's must be a bit... unsettling.

She had the tablet next to her and feeling bored and slightly curious she flipped it on so that she could respond to the visual post. "Can't sleep, either, stranger?"

Sheppard by this time had taken to buffing his golf clubs. He wasn't sure if there was even a golf course here, but he had managed to make one in Atlantis. The tablet was propped up on the bookcase so that whoever on the other end could see him. He was bent over, toothbrush against the metal bottom of the club.
He paused and breathed on it. His eyes glanced at the tablet before returning to the club. "Been here long?"
[Visual]
She appeared thoughtful for a moment before taking a bite of one of the slices. Zoe swallowed it before continuing, "Nope. I've only been here a few days. Yourself?"
[Visual]
"Lt. Colonel John Sheppard. Nice to meet you, Washburne." he nodded in introduction before turning back to his club.

Zoe took another piece of the apple and ate it. "So, you are military. Nice to meet you too, Lt. Colonel."

His attention went back to the tablet as she gestured to their ship. It seemed nothing like the Ancient ships, or even the few Earth intergalactic ships they had. He scratched his chin in thought. Washburne did have a point. Things couldn't be in two places at once, even if they were clones or alternate universes or whatever.
"Maybe Taxon's patrons built them for us. Though that's even weirder."
[Visual]
Zoe shook her head, "I'd almost rather believe that the ship can be in two places at once."

However he shared the glance around the room. As with Washburne's kitchen, everything in his room was as it should be. Even his Johnny Cash poster was there over the bed. It felt like home. Though the rude awakening happened when he walked outside of the room and found the rest of Taxon waiting for him.

Well, he's up now.
"John? John Sheppard?"
[visual]
"Dr. Jackson, you're here too?"
