now i rock a house party at the drop of a hat.

It's around five o'clock in the morning when the citizens of Taxon find themselves inexplicably transported into rooms within the Sanctuary. Doors are left open and beds unmade, food abandoned and lights left on, still shining brightly for those who were awake and are no longer present. The Extras don't seem to notice the captive population's sudden disappearance, continuing on with their business as usual.

For those relocated, though, it's an entirely different story.

They find themselves in rooms with white, alabaster walls that gives them an almost too-clean feeling, as if the entire place was sanitized prior to their arrival. The room assignments are seemingly random, people placed on floors with those they don't know and don't like, people they would rather not be within twenty feet of. It matters not, for what's done is done and cannot be undone. For those who happen to have pets, they'll find them waiting for their owners in the rooms as if nothing is out of the ordinary.

The only thing the captives have managed to bring with them is the clothes on their back and the tablets. On them, they find the following message:
SORRY FOR THE INCONVENIENCE PLEASE ENJOY YOUR STAY WHILE WE ADDRESS CERTAIN TECHNICAL DIFFICULTIES
Unfortunately for those who try to find a means of escape, they'll discover there is none. Leaving the Sanctuary will prove to be as difficult as leaving Taxon itself. However, if one heads down the right corridor and the right floor, they'll find something else entirely lurking in their midst...

( ooc | sorry for the delay in posting! your mods were otherwise occupied with things of the irl variety this morning. THIS BE A PARTY POST, Y'ALL. room assignments are here, and refer back to the sott post proper for any additional information. please contact us with any questions/concerns you may have in regards to this plot. ♥ )

Willow is about as angry as Angel and the aliens might not be lucky enough to escape without encountering her. How unfortunate.

For now, though, she nods at Angel. "I-I don't know how many of them there are o-or if there are any others, but... I figured you'd need it and if there are any others, they'd need it, too. So if you want it, I'll just... keep a stash here."

And Angel can come get it whenever he feels like it and keep her as much in or out of the loop as he wants. She really doesn't care at this point and she trusts Angel's judgment, for better or for worse.

There's something comforting about having Willow around, something that's absent in others from home who tend to regard him with suspicion and unease. Drusilla doesn't count, for that confidence she has in him was instilled in her by he, himself, for twisted purposes he didn't like to think about. Willow seems to have a unique spot in Angel's small circle of lasting connections in being the only person from Sunnydale who has that kind of faith in him and trusts him. He values that beyond words' ability to express.

"Thank you. I appreciate that." He hesitates, then asks, "...what kind of blood is it?"

Human, he can do. Human he's done more often than he's detailed to those around him, and not just counting the time River was in his body and went on a human blood drinking binge fest that left him feeling anxious and wound up with energy that had no release for a good month after his body was returned to him. When he got hurt badly, it was human he drank. Animal blood didn't quite do it when it came to helping him heal in the ways he ought to, both with precision and time.

If the blood they'd been supplied with was human, he wanted to be prepared to deal with the judging sort of backlash that would come with it, for it seemed like anything remotely associated with his soulless side turned him into some ticking time bomb in the eyes of others whenever he came in contact with it.

"Uh..." Willow pauses at the question and sits down on the bed to pick one of the blood bags up. She hadn't really given it much thought, but she supposes if there's bags like this, it's probably human. She can't imagine the hamsters really wanting to deal with putting animal blood in this sort of thing.

"I'm guessing human, but... y'know..." She shrugs. "It's not like I would know."

Angel sighs. Potentially bracing himself for people giving him hell about this for however long this stay was has officially been added to his list.

"Where are you? I'll come... taste it."

"I'm up in my room, tenth floor, 6th room."

And she's not going anywhere.

Angel has now noticed don (http://taxonomites.livejournal.com/502251.html?thread=30674155#t30674155) and what he's doing to the blood.

"He drains all of that, I may eat him instead."

...he may or may not be serious. There's no telling with him, sometimes.

"...Angel."

It's said in a half-exasperated and half-TOTALLY UNDERSTANDING tone.

"That's why I grabbed as much as I could. I saw what he was doing. Lucky for us all, I was already in the other kitchen."

He wouldn't. He might try and scare Don by acting like he was going to, but wouldn't actually go through with it. Angel may be several shades of gray, but his moral compass isn't so black as to be okay with him doing that.

"...thank you. I'll be there in a second."

"I'm not going anywhere."

And she really isn't. She's camped out in her room, with the door propped open, and she may be trying to figure out how to make an ice box out of nothing.
