[Action] Househunting. Sort of. (Backdated)

Well.

If she were being honest, Anita hadn't been at all sure what to expect upon arriving. Certainly not this, though. Considering the source, she had expected something a little out of the ordinary -- it didn't seem like Glitch would deign to live somewhere that was anything but, really -- but... well. With the way he talked about it, she thought it might be a slightly eccentric house, not -- what was this, anyway? A freaking glacier?

She picked up her phone and dialed Glitch to alert him to her arrival. Not knowing any of the other residents here at the North Pole, it seemed like the thing to do.

((OOC: Open to Glitch and all other residents of The Northern Island! Backdated like WHOA. Apologies.))

Message received! There is a noticeable hole in the ice near the end of the bridge, and a door creaked open and Glitch poked his head out, grinning.

"Hi!" he greeted with a wave, then hauled open the tall, ornate door and stepped outside to give Anita an informal little half-bow. "Welcome...here. DG's up in her studio working on a thing, b-but I can show you around a bit and maybe introduce you later. Come on in."

Ready for this, Ms. Blake?

"It's not really made from ice, just...kinda covered in it a lot." And it was distressing that he couldn't picture what the palace looked like when it wasn't encased in its frozen tomb. "And and it's just the two of us now, used to be another guy but he vanished. Again."

Glitch held the door open and gestured into the main hall with its dizzyingly high ceiling and forest of columns. A few of the columns were wrapped in twinkle lights leading off to the left toward the ballroom. On the right-hand wall was the portrait of the queen and the Regent her adviser Glitch as he'd been before. At the back of the hall was the wide-sweeping staircase leading to the gallery and living areas.

Stone, marble, glass, all greens and blues shot through with gold and the occasional purple.

"Here you are, summer home of the royal family of the O.Z. and...well, current home of me and DG." Pause. "She's a princess, but i-it's nothing formal. She grew up in Kansas."
