007 [HOLO/Location: Random Street] Well, he did it again.
Something trigged the holo function on Jack's tablet. Which is a good thing... Otherwise it would take a little too long for people to discover him.
Jack's body is currently laid out in an unconscious heap near a wall of a building. No signs of struggle, he's even still armed. The only sign something happened to him at all is this strange shaped object on the wall next to him. Of course, that only means something to those who have seen one before.
After about ten minutes from when HOLO was activated, he began to stir, "Guuunnnnhhh....."

"Sir?" she questions in a soft tone, warily watching the rooftops and the surrounding area. "It's Lieutenant Thrace," she drops to her knees next to him, moving to help him onto his back. "Do you know where you are?"
no subject
Once on his back he sits up a little, "Uh..." he brings a hand to run over his face with another little groan, "That.... Tax-son... place?"
no subject
"Can you tell me your name, sir?"
She pulls a flashlight from her belongings, clicking the on button with her thumb.
no subject
"Uh... Colonel Jack O'Neill, that's with two Ls," he squinted a little, "Six nine dash four dash one four one," reciting his SN while he's at it.
no subject
She turns the flashlight off and stuffs it back into her flight suit's pockets.
"Oh, and as for what's going on here, well, I happened to look up and saw you sprawled in this here random street. Was actually wondering if you had any idea what happened to you. Doesn't look like it though."
no subject
He blinks a few more times then looks around. He notices the strange shaped object on the near by wall. He does what could be called a facepalm right after, "Oh, I think I got an idea..."
no subject
She follows Jack's gaze, stands up, and reaches for the object on the wall. "What is this thing?"
no subject
He gestured with his hands, "It grabbed my fron and dumped an assload of... stuff into it."
no subject
"Sir, are you sure you're alright?"
no subject
He runs his fingers through his hair, "No! I am not alright..." He takes a breath then calms down enough to speak a little clearer, "I just got--" he points angrily at the thing on the wall, "--I just got the entire..." he gestures vaguely at his head with his hands, "...videeum of the Ancients. All of it!"

"Jack? Hey! Jack!"

"I'm on my way. Jack, are you hurt at all?"
no subject
"Hey, Daniel? Doesn't that tablet thingie have like.... a locater beacon or something?"
no subject
"Don't move anywhere, I'm coming."
no subject
no subject
"Hey."

"... No, Jack. No way. We have to get this out of your head. ... Again."
no subject
"I might as well be doing something with it."

He takes a moment to calm down. No reason to yell at Daniel. He is the only person who will understand him once he goes Ancient.

Pause.
He gestured at his head, "Other than the head download thing." After a second he glanced around, "Where's the nearest replicator thingie?"

Jack points off in the direction of the hatches, "Getting us out of here is just a tad bit more important, Daniel!" He then gestured at his own head, "If I knew how I'd get it out, I would!"
no subject
Daniel looks unsure, though, shifting his weight and putting his hands on his hips. He glances around.

Re: [visual]
Vala grabs her jacket and is already heading out as she talks. "I don't suppose you've downloaded some instructions on how to defeat the Taxonians and escape this place have you? Stands to reason, it could be possible."
Oops, probably not the best thing to say or presume, considering she is actually concerned aswell. "What I meant to say was 'are you alright'? Hurt?"
no subject
"Oh, gee, thanks, I'm euge. Y'know... just got my head grabbed by an Ancient head grabby. Couldn't be better!" Yes, sarcasm is his friend in times like these, "I'll just kick off in a week, don't mind me!"
[voice]
Sir? Sir, can you hear me? Are you okay?
Re: [voice]
Oh, just peachy. Got my head sucked! AGAIN!
no subject
Got your head... sucked?

Then he found O'Neill on the ground and the strange device. That looked oddly Ancient-y. He rushed over next to him, kneeling down on one knee beside the Colonel.
"Sir?"
Re: [Location: Random Street]
"No, wait--! Better question!" He pulls his head up, "Why the hell did I look into it?"
Although... he has a pretty good idea why he did. He just doesn't want to tell anyone yet.
[Location: Random Street]
"Well, sir. I'm going to assume it's because it's Ancient Technology... and because it's... I don't know. Shiny?"
Re: [Location: Random Street]
He brought his fingers up to tap at the side of his temple, "The damn thing downloaded the whole damn Ancient library into my fron!"
[Location: Random Street]
Very badly. Almost as bad as Rodney and that Cadet being in the same head together.
"The entire database?"
[Location: Random Street]
He ran his hands through his hair again. The upside... he can figure a way out of this place with the knowledge... maybe. He hopes.
"Sheppard? Where's the nearest replicator hatch?"
[Location: Random Street]
He had heard that tone from several people in command before. Sheppard knew better than to press anything when someone in higher command spoke like that. He stood and motioned with his hand to the direction he was talking about.
