With all the mess that's happening I'm calling girls night. Pick a movie.

Hey, it's Elena. Do you have any jobs?
Elena had needed to get out and clear her head. She'd left a note for Jenna in case she wasn't back when Jenna got home from work and had just walked, not really any direction or location in mind - it sort of counteracted the needing to clear her head. So much had seemed to have happened in such a short space of time and to add with that she was still adjusting to being here, to Katherine being here, that Jenna was from her past and Caroline her future. It was... not good. And weirder than anything they've ever had before.
Katherine had been eerily quiet, barring her 'public call' regarding the attack. And then was the attack itself. She didn't know how many Vampires were here but she'd hoped it would be safer. And it didn't even seem like the Sheriff was doing anything, not like he had with Party and Kobra. It was definitely a strange place.
It took Elena a while before she stopped walking. She wasn't even certain how long it had been but her surroundings definitely indicated that it was somewhere that she hadn't been before, and it wasn't so much of a straight line walk. At least it was something different to see, even if the playground looked a little creepy. They looked weird without kids in them but this one had an even weirder feeling to it.

Does anyone know where the playground is?
[Location: Sunnydale Playground]
And then there was the vampire that could almost have been a ghost. She drifted between the trees and whispered in the mind and, one day, she was sure to snap the chains that held her back when she was hungry.
One day.
For now, however, she would have to content herself with a picnic beneath the poplars. She poured Miss Edith another cup of tea - her own cup was filled with something warm and crimson - and tipped her to the side at the sound of footsteps.
"Are you coming to join us?"

And then when she saw her she remembered the voice, finally placing it with who it was. And that didn't seem good. Elena didn't know why but she didn't have a good feeling about the woman, mostly because she liked Katherine but there was something else too.
"I was just passing." Getting out of there was definitely her better option.

"There's plenty of tea," she informed Elena. "And cakes. Miss Edith knows when to share."

They weren't in the underworld. Breaking bread with the devil would trap you in Hell, but Drusilla was, when all was said and done, just his daughter.

Drusilla had been keeping her voice as light as air - to draw her in and because half the fun of frightening people came from confusing them - but it hardened at that.
Her family - both real and makeshift - had been taken away from her, person by person. She was jealous.
"You should watch them. Someone might snatch them away."
