[opposite event] This is a story all about how Taxon got flipped, turned upside down.

The idea, as it had been initially presented, was for citizens to experience what it was like to walk in someone else's shoes. In practice it became discovering what it was like to walk in their own shoes, if their taste in shoes were suddenly quite different from normal. The footwear still fit and was comfy, but the style was quite different.

For two weeks the prisoners of Taxon swapped their utilitarian Doc Martin's for trendy Louboutins (or vice versa) and all manner of shenanigans reigned.

[ OOC: Trying something new! this is basically a LOG POST where everyone can consolidate their opposite plot doings in one location for optimal organization. How it will work:
→ tag in with your character being affected by the opposite plot.
→ include the dates they will be affected!
→ others will tag you with reactions, and you can tag them!

You are of course free to make your own posts as well. Have fun! ]

Kaylee just stares. What the hell is with this guy, exactly? Isn't he going to throw out the lectures and tell her the error of every single one of her ways, how she's doomed to fail on this track, yadda yadda yadda... Hell, even him trying to pick her up would be more to the norm than this.

"...yeah. Sure."

A satisfied nod from the middle-aged man at her agreement, however befuddled it may be.

"Excellent, then. I look forward to pleasant conversations when you are back to yourself," Long said, and offered Kaylee-not-Kaylee a slight bow before turning to walk away.

He could be polite to the girl wearing tasteless black mesh and stealing normality from their interactions, but he certainly didn't have to subject himself to more, he rationalized.

Back to herself? Just what was that supposed to mean? Kaylee watched the man's retreating back, confused and mildly irritated. Weird guy. Normally they weren't so...polite. She didn't really know what to do with it.

Kaylee looked away and lit another cigarette. Good riddance, she decided.
