Is it routine to lose track of large pieces of time around here?

[Normally he would not venture to ask, but, well, he had noticed others refer vaguely to it, and losing chunks of time was always rather concerning. Someone may have been tampering with his mind. He knew all too well how possible that was.

It had been a week and he still could not remember anything from the few weeks prior to that. Nor could he find any locked memories within his own mind. Either there was another powerful telepath here, or he had 'skipped' some time.]

Yes, unfortunately. [ a bit of a sigh; Glitch hadn't personally expericned this phenomenon but he'd seen it enough times to really hate it. ]

Folks just go away for a while without anyone noticing, then come back and don't remember where they were. Sorry it...happened to you? [ venturing a guess there. ]

[A pause as he muses over what this means. He didn't go anywhere, as far as he knew. He just seemed to have moved forward in time. Did the 'Hamsters' do this to him? Or was it something else?]

I am afraid it has, yes. I am still not sure exactly how much I missed, but I see to have missed quite a bit.

It's one of their nastier tricks, bad for everybody. [ like when DG had gone and he'd spent weeks feeling angry and lonely without knowing why. ] I don't know if...sorry, is there anyone you're close with in town that could fill you in? Or, well, I could. Um. Wh-what's the last thing you remember?

[Beth's voice is sympathetic. She understands what it's like to feel like this place is taking parts of you, whether it's time or something else entirely.]

Unfortunately, I think that's just one of the many screwed up things that are routine here.

Are you all right? I mean, lost time aside, are you hurt in any way?

It's happened to a few of us, including me. One minute, I was sitting in my surgery. The next minute, it was nearly a month later.

[Martha was used to time travel, but what had happened in Taxon was nothing like a trip in the TARDIS.]

[It wasn't difficult to work out that it had happened to him as well.]

Time. It is irrelevant, here. A useless void. Filled with nothing but empty space and black dust.

[ Well, this is a new guy. The voice isn't familiar, anyway--Party's brow raises and his lips part and he presses the video feed, still cooped up in Gwen's house. There's a bit of paint on his face, though, shocking red hair just short enough to tuck behind his ears but not enough to get fully out of his face. It's why there's a large black glob of paint stuck in it. ]

Yeah, they're all pause glitchy. Not really shiny, but it's milkshake so long as you let other prisoners catch you up. Not that this place is real milkshake but it's a four and two ones, follow? Gotta pick up what I'm putting down at least so someone can do the same for you. Trash-talkin' motorbaby or otherwise.

[ And okay maybe he needs to work on his lingo and curving it so people can understand him here. ]
