Remus paces restlessly around a small cottage room. There's little in the way of furniture visible, just an armchair and some curtains fluttering in the breeze, suggesting a garden outside beyond the open window.

The man shifts restlessly, clearly agitated and muttering to himself, throwing himself into the arm chair, getting up again to pace, tugging his hair with his hands. "It's getting too soon, too close, I can feel it, but even if I found a brewer, it's too late to start for this cycle. I should tell them, no, Remus, think, you can't tell them, they don't even seem to have magic here, explaining the details of being a Dark Creature isn't going to go over well. But I'm a danger. I know I'm a danger and I need them to stay away. I'm not near anyone, but someone might come looking for me, because they're all nice and thoughtful that way, buggeration, I can't think when it's so close!"

He throws himself into the armchair, glowering at the tablet. "And you, you horrible little thing. Why are you flashing at me? I don't know what you want, stop it."

He's clearly not quite himself. He also clearly has no idea that the tablet flashing means 'broadcast'.

"Dark Arts. Curses, hexes and of course covering creatures which inherently channel dark magics or are born of them." He's very sincere.

"Oh, well, sure." Shrugs, taking his logic seriously even if he's not necessarily sure how much of this he believes. "But how d'you draw the line between dark and light magics? Sounds like Supreme Court territory, man."

"Well, in general magic use, there isn't 'dark' or 'light' magic, though there are spells considered to be Unforgivable in the eyes of the law. Dark Arts refers in general to spells and creatures which exist to subjugate and harm Beings. That's a very brief summary."

[drowning_dog]

"Sounds rough," he hums, "especially for anyone who qualifies as a 'dark creature.'

"But you don't seem like you wanna subjugate or harm all that much, Lupin."

[apackofone]

"I don't most of the time. Just sometimes, well, sometimes I'm not myself and I can be rather, um, volatile." He rubs his hand through his hair.

[drowning_dog]

"Hm." Sniffs, taking another thorough look at the visual. "You got a safeguard or what?"

[apackofone]

"Not the one I once had, but I should be no danger to anyone."

[drowning_dog]

"You sure about that?" He's got people to watch out for, man.

[apackofone]

He nods. "I have someone coming here to make sure I stay put and who can put out a warning if the worst comes to pass."

[drowning_dog]

"There's a possibility of it...not passing?"

[apackofone]

"Well, the worst is that I get out and loose, rather than staying safely locked away where I can't hurt people."

[drowning_dog]

A quiet "phew". "Roger that. Lotta weight on one guy's brain, huh, Lupin?"

[apackofone]

"Only if I don't have plans. After a few decades, you get used to it, I suppose."

You never get used to it.
