Just like last week, Ashley's tablet starts recording while she's in the throws of a nightmare. It's far closer to morning this time, and unlike the last, she's fallen asleep with the light on. Her thrashing can clearly be seen as the tablet is up on a ledge with a clear shot at her.

In her mind, Ashley can still feel the tank of water around her, the feel of the medication as it flowed through her veins, the last of her resistance being pushed out. Her mind is being forced back, her will bent into a corner of her brain, and from the looks of her thrashing, whatever nightmare she's having is far worse than the last.

The tablet records for a few minutes before Ashley suddenly sits bolt upright in bed, her eyes snapping open. Those who have actually seen her and pay attention to these sorts of things will notice that her eyes aren't blue this morning. They're red, a deep, blood red. Source Blood red. Ashley pulls herself together and leaps from the loft, landing catlike on the floor below. Eventually, the tablet feed will time out and that is all it catches of Ashley for the next week or so.

The blonde girl is on a mission and no one is safe.

Again, his block is less effective than he would have preferred, but he manages to stay on his feet, a vast improvement over his first encounter with her. Then he counters with a swing of his own.

He's putting up a better fight than she expected. She blocks, aiming a kick at his knee. It's kind of funny. She's almost bored with everyone here, but somehow Tesla is interesting enough to keep her toying. Maybe he'll prove better the second time around.

He'd hardly been given opportunity the first time, courtesy of John. But this time, the blow lands, taking his feet out from under him.

"You're aim is improving."

She hisses down at him, curling her fingers around the air between them and practically smirking at him. His words didn't matter to her. If he gave her another minute, she would speed forward with the intent of landing on him with both hands at his shoulders. He knows how she works, though, and there's plenty of room to foil her.

He's on his feet again quickly, staying low as he counters by throwing his full weight toward her with as much force as he can manage. It's rare he finds an opponent that's not dealt with easily, and he's finding it as frustrating as he remembers.

She's bored. So bored. Bored enough that the sudden change of tactics takes her by surprise. He manages to slam right into her, thrusting her to the ground before she can react. If he's going to do something else, now is the time, before she decides to teleport out and literally stab him in the back.

He'll gladly take that opportunity, aiming for her stomach, well aware he isn't likely to get another chance. He isn't looking forward to James learning about this encounter.

The blow hits, tearing into her, and she cries out. The kicks of retaliation are more from Ashley's sanity than the Cabal-driven side, so they're made with far less force than normal.

He notices the weakening blows, but he also realizes he'll need to do enough damage to either restore her sanity or cause her to retreat.

"I am sorry about this."

He pulls back enough to take another swipe at her side.

If she were sane, Ashley would tell him not to apologize, that it's what she wants, but she can't and unfortunately the Cabal-controlled side of her is coming back into place. As his talons slice through her, Ashley herself surfaces briefly. It's long enough for her eyes to change color.

She does retaliate, trying to actually shove him away. If successful, she'll try to teleport away in an effort to give him time to leave, to save himself and find some other way of taking her down.

The change in eye color is enough to prompt him to shift his weight off of her, allowing her space.

And in a swirl of familiar red light, she's gone. He's done enough and she doesn't want to risk hurting him if she can help it. Vampire against vampire genetics or not, the last thing she wants is to have to explain that she managed to hurt or kill him.
