006: [Location: Hyperion Hotel] Like the Prom, Only with Legal Alcohol Supply
Party time!
Cordelia, clad in her chosen outfit for the night, made final rounds inside the hotel to make sure everything was perfect. The decorations were subdued and classy - thanks to both Dawn and Fred, and even the garden was opened so that those who wished to step out and inhale the fake Taxon air could do so. There were tons of wine, beer, scotch, vodka - and if Doyle's selections weren't enough, there's a hatch conveniently behind the refreshments table.
The hotel lobby was cleared of all the furniture, so that the mingling and the dancing could take place more comfortably. If people wanted to take a tour of the hotel, they were welcomed to do so save for three rooms: Fred's, Angel's, and Wesley's office. For not-so-obvious-but-quite-sentimental reasons.
[OOC: This party takes place after the Liar Liar glitch took effect. Mingle! Threadjack! Interrupt! Have fun!]

lalala pretend this is much later and that the icon has gloves, k? k
Check out your favorite leather girl, dressed in nice, long white, complete with silk white gloves to match. LISA's on and fired up, but she decided to go with the back up. And, look! Not a scrap of leather to be seen. Confused? Gwen's all about defying expectations (or fulfilling them to an extreme, in some cases). You expect scanty leather? You get classic dress. It's her way of keeping things interesting.
She might try to sneak around a bit...Try to check out the areas of the hotel she'd never been acquainted with. That'll come later, when undoubtedly alcohol blinds the eyes and attentions of everyone in the room. For now? She mingles, strolls, looks around for a friendly face. Have a go at her. She's not interested in stealing anything off you, she promises.
here are gloves in your icon!!! I see them thar.
"And here you are. In a dress." She pauses. "I think I'm going to cry."

"Oh so, you don't like it? I'll tell you what, I'll just go change and save you the tears."

"So! Guest. There's the drinks, and, hey! Want a brownie?"
no subject
"I'll..." She almost says 'pass' and then realizing she really didn't need to endure anymore of Cordelia's hostessing wrath than she had to. "Drink sounds good."
And probably needed.
no subject
"All right," she says, without missing a beat. "Table's over there. If you want something more thief-related, hatch it yourself. 'Mkay?"
no subject
"Aren't you the good hostess?" Only a touch of condescension there. "Thanks. I'm sure I'll survive."
