002: [VOICE] Here's a thought...

[Claire has been sitting on this idea for a couple of days. She's hesitant to act on it with Peter and Nathan in the city, but they'll get over it eventually. She clears her throat and makes sure she's on the right setting before pitching her question to whoever might be listening.]

Has anyone figured out how to get their bracelet off?

In theory, if someone were to, um, cut off their wrist, would they be forced to put on a new bracelet, or would it be gone for good?

After Nathan got shot. I called you because I wanted to heal him. You turned me down, and then the next day...why would I tell you about something you were a part of?

[She's still not seeing how it could have been anyone but Peter.]

[ Long pause as he connects the dots. And the sound of him facepalming. Or at least him hitting his head against something. Possibly the wall. ]

I wasn't there, Claire. A future version of me showed up and shoved me into the body of an inmate of Level 5. He was probably the one that stopped you from jumping into trains. Why the hell were you jumping into a god damn train?

[Oh, well that explained everything. And made her a little mad at whatever future version of himself it was.]

Because I wanted something to hurt me.

[ Peter realizes how ridiculous this whole idea sounds. Except, well, it made perfect sense back home. There's a moment where he doesn't say anything. Because his 'take care of the niece' senses are tingling. ]

[ She's getting a hug. Even if she doesn't want it. ]
