[Eric doesn't do the guilt thing. He's not into repentance or remorse or anything resembling either of those concepts. However, being intermittently visited by the ghosts of people he's eaten is very annoying. And he's pretty sure that that one ghost of Sophie-Anne keeps trying to make him play yahtzee.]

Are there any practitioners of magic in the city who could do something about this pest problem? I'd be willing to pay.

"I'll be there in a few minutes." Eric nods, before pressing the off button on the tablet. Any lurking ghosts are dismissed as he leaves for the open air. Rather than fly to the forest, he chooses to run, as if it were some sort of warm-up exercise - not that vampires are ever warm.

Godric greets his child with a smile when he arrives, pleased to see him running rather than flying. It's a subtle gesture, but it's still significant. While it's true vampires can't warm up, they can get into the spirit of things.

Godric too is in the spirit of things, shirt already discarded and his casual sandals replaced with boots. Neither of these things are necessarily practical in any manner, for vampires neither sweat nor have much to worry about in terms of protective footwear, but it's how Godric hunts. It's how Godric has always preferred to hunt, even as a human. The only difference is that his pants aren't currently made of buckskin.

Beckoning Eric with a wave of the hand, he delves silently into the forest, his senses open for the distinct presence of bear.
