[ voice ] no sense haunting the dead

[Eric doesn't do the guilt thing. He's not into repentance or remorse or anything resembling either of those concepts. However, being intermittently visited by the ghosts of people he's eaten is very annoying. And he's pretty sure that that one ghost of Sophie-Anne keeps trying to make him play yahtzee.]

Are there any practitioners of magic in the city who could do something about this pest problem? I'd be willing to pay.

[ okay, so this message was very much relevant to Piper's interest... and inherent abilities. ]

...pest? [ she thinks she knows what this guy is really asking, but can't hurt to be sure. ]

Believe me, I wish it was that easy.

"They're bothering you too?" Godric has, very thankfully, not been visited by his own ghosts. Things could potentially get very messy, very quickly, if that happened. But he isn't pleased to have his loved ones haunted. He wonders who Eric's ghosts are, but more importantly, he wonders if they can be banished as Eric wants. He would do it himself, if he knew how.

Tell me if you find someone. It's getting bloody ridiculous.

Magic is always a lure, be it ethereal or tangible, and a word is a word - which in itself can hold great power.

Gump's ears twitch at the sound of it, unable to restrain himself from talking into the tablet. "Magic? Humble trickery is my trade, but that be a form of magic as any other."

Granted, Gump's idea of 'humble trickery' is a whole different kettle of fish than most people's.

[She sounds a little annoyed, though that's a front. Having Locke show up only to be visibly a ghost has upset her on a variety of levels.] If necessary, I imagine we can get a fund together. I'd certainly chip in.
