[opposite event] This is a story all about how Taxon got flipped, turned upside down.
The idea, as it had been initially presented, was for citizens to experience what it was like to walk in someone else's shoes. In practice it became discovering what it was like to walk in their own shoes, if their taste in shoes were suddenly quite different from normal. The footwear still fit and was comfy, but the style was quite different.
For two weeks the prisoners of Taxon swapped their utilitarian Doc Martin's for trendy Louboutins (or vice versa) and all manner of shenanigans reigned.
[ OOC: Trying something new! this is basically a LOG POST where everyone can consolidate their opposite plot doings in one location for optimal organization. How it will work:
→ tag in with your character being affected by the opposite plot.
→ include the dates they will be affected!
→ others will tag you with reactions, and you can tag them!
You are of course free to make your own posts as well. Have fun! ]

"Finn?" she repeated, regarding him with concern as well as customary affection. "What are you doing, Glitch?"
[Visual]
The vocie startled Glitch and he tripped, tumbling to the ground. He got up on his hands and knees and looked around, confused. "Who who who said that?"
Re: [Visual]
This wasn't good. DG was on her feet before Glitch had a chance to reply, pulling up his location from the tablet map and setting off without hesitation.
She remembered the time that he'd glitched so badly that he'd forgotten almost everything. Including her. She prayed - to something, to whatever someone from the O.Z was supposed to pray to - that it hadn't happened again.
[Visual]
"Hello DG, I'm happy to see you." Pause. Blank stare. Resume smile. "I'm happy to see you."
Wait, didn't he just say that?
[Visual]
She was worried - and growing steadily more worried by the moment - but she was happy. At least he wasn't frightened of her. There was some recognition there.
"Maybe I should come and see you properly? Not just using the tablet?"
It wasn't really an offer, since she was already on her way, but she wanted to keep him talking.
[Visual]
"Yes. I I I I'm by this...um...this-" He gestured, trying to come up with the word. "The thingy with water and splashing, and there's...fishy stuff. Fish!"
That was close enough, and a lot for someone with half-a-brain to remember all on his own. He smiled, proud of himself.
[Visual]
It was fortunate that she was naturally patient enough to deal with Glitch when he was like this. And, even if she hadn't been, she'd have found a way to manage it.
[Visual / Location]
And that's precisely what he went back to doing. Because.
[Location: Wherever Glitch is Wandering]
She reached the fountain as quickly as she could, half running and half jogging and eventually walking the last few metres to greet him.
"Glitch?"
[Location: Wherever Glitch is Wandering]
Yeah, the routine had started over again, but he's distracted by her greeting. Glitch grinned hugely and half-jogged over to meet her. "DG! Hi, I-- whoops." He tripped on some uneven pavement (or possibly nothing) but caught himself before falling. "Ha, th-that was close. I-I-I'm so glad to see you, how'd you find me?"
[Location: Wherever Glitch is Wandering]
She looked him up and down, smiling in relief when it became apparent that he was all right. At least physically.
"With this," she added, holding up her tablet. "As long as you're wearing that bracelet ..." - she tapped the appropriate wrist with a finger - "... it can record where you are and let me know."
[Location: Wherever Glitch is Wandering]
"What a nifty doohicky," Glitch said and stared at the tablet. Then he blinked and gasped. "Oh wait! I I I think I've got one too!" He fished his tablet out of his coat pocket and held it up triumphantly.
"Hey, this is the thingy I was talking to you with before." Pause. "Oh, right! Ha! I was talking to you before, that-that's why you...right."
