07 [Location | Visual | Open] On The Prowl

"Well, Isis, I think it is time for us to find a place to live. Maybe a real place to live for awhile instead of this bouncing around from place to place." Selina doesn't notice that the tablet is on but the little black cat on her shoulder seems it. She jumps down and bats at the thing, knocking it down onto the floor. After it stops bouncing on the floor, it shows Selina packing a small bag. Looking up, she looks at what Isis is doing and seems amused.

"We're going to be here for more than a few weeks, so we might as well find a nice place to live - see if maybe we can enjoy it."

The rest of you, Taxon, are treated to the visual of being a cat toy for the next thirty seconds before the visual cuts out again. Through out the day, Selina will be exploring new places to live through out Taxon. It will also be an excuse to stop in and visit some other people. There is a Sherlock to bother, a Tony to chat with, a Logan to drink with and any other number of people to bother.


[OOC: This post is a catchall for anyone who wants to talk to Selina post-dinos! Or, you know, if you want to complain about being treated to a cat toy video.

"A palace - wow. That's a thing, isn't it?"

Selina looks over at him and smiles gently, "Festive can be hard on your own but sometimes it can be easier, too. There are so many things that can help decide that."

"I used to work for the royal family and my friend was a princess, but...it still took adapting to."

His life is/was ridiculously complicated for reasons astonishingly beyond his control.

"I've still got friends here, good ones. We've kind of made our own traditions, it happens when you've been here a while." He tilts his head. "Or even if you haven't. It sorta gives you the freedom to do whatever you want, really. All these different realities, you get some cross-pollination."

"I imagine that it did. I have a friend who is very rich and every time I am over at his house, I can't help but think what his parents would have thought of me," Selina says with a slightly pained expression. Not that she's over there often as herself but, still, it ... leaves a mark.

"So, should I expect parties or something?"

Glitch makes an uncertain little noise a shrugs, all what can you do. "They're not here though, are they? That's license to go about your business."

The next query he knows what to do with and looks back at the festive display.

"Folks usually do something for Christmas, and thanks to the aliens a couple anuuals ago we actually got a visit from Santa. I do sorta have a party planned, something called Annual's End. Music, dancing, dress up all sparkly and ring in the new annual with gifts for friends. Assuming the guys upstairs don't decide to mess with us, it'll be a good time."

Unfortunately, messing with has happened so the big to-do is going to be put off. Not that Glitch knows this yet.
