"All right, I'll try and make this quick:"

Glitch? Getting to the point in a reasonable amount of time? Is it possible?

"For those who don't know me: my name's Glitch, I'm that guy who's been here since forever and kinda know the most about all the...stuff that goes on here. Sorta."

No, no it is not.

"Anyway, ah...I've been studying the lighthouse and found some peculiarities with the light-beam thingy which I wanna discuss with everyone. Or most of you, if you can make it. Plus there was that whole hanging out and having drinks thing which I mentioned before all the stuff north of the river happened-- hey we can talk about that too."

Yeah he is taking notes now, all frowny and confuzzled.

"Right! Unless you've got something drastic going on, let's meet at the Black Friar after sundown for the...sunlight-avoidant. First round of drinks is on me. See you later."

ooc: Gathering of the citizens! This is a mingle log so tag in, tag each other, frolic away. I will be adding a tag of Glitch discussing his Very Scientific Observations and there will e a Q&A to follow which I hope will e full of threadjacking. And here havesome pub details. Go go go!

The younger of the two glances back at her when she waves and gives her a brusque nod of acknowledgment. The resemblance is clear enough at this distance, though Johannes is fairer-haired and -eyed, unsmiling, very tidy, and a little bloodless himself, although in the way of a man of extremely Western European stock who doesn't get much sun, not of a dead one. He looks older than Horst by five or six misleading years, at that. He does not look happy, with Horst, with the crowd of people, or with the Black Friar at all, for that matter.

When Horst detaches himself Johannes immediately makes for the bar. Some people who are doing something unwillingly are willing--or able--to put on a smile and a brave face over it for the purposes of social harmony. Johannes is not one of these people. He obviously isn't here willingly. "Vodka," he orders the bartender, and then louder, "I said vodka," when the Extra looks a little concerned. Then, in full view of everyone, he knocks back the shot and clinks it back down on the counter with a clear expression of, well? in the barkeep's direction.

You can lead a horse to water, but you can't force him to not completely ignore it and choose to get smashed instead. He notices Metody again when he finishes his second shot and glances away immediately, surly. In fact, he just looks miserable.

She smiles, pleased at the recognition, and starts towards him - and then falters at the little display at the bar. Oh. Oh, dear. Metody takes a tentative half-step forward, then thinks better of it.

This behavior is familiar, but her old, habitual responses don't apply here. Johannes neither wants or needs her to stand by his side and be a social sparkle, and truth be told, she doesn't particularly want to do that either.

So she will just smile pleasantly and stay over here, enjoying her (probably) delicious juice.
