Glitch? Getting to the point in a reasonable amount of time? Is it possible?

"For those who don't know me: my name's Glitch, I'm that guy who's been here since forever and kinda know the most about all the...stuff that goes on here. Sorta."

No, no it is not.

"Anyway, ah...I've been studying the lighthouse and found some peculiarities with the light-beam thingy which I wanna discuss with everyone. Or most of you, if you can make it. Plus there was that whole hanging out and having drinks thing which I mentioned before all the stuff north of the river happened-- hey we can talk about that too."

Yeah he is taking notes now, all frowny and confuzzled.

"Right! Unless you've got something drastic going on, let's meet at the Black Friar after sundown for the...sunlight-avoidant. First round of drinks is on me. See you later."

Light, light, you could do a lot with light, and things that looked like light. You could communicate. You could power. You could even summon.

"What do you see when you look in the direction the light change is pointed at? And does it change the same way every time?"

"I haven't been up to the north - I don't like the sounds - but I can tell you that the animals are digging in. Suddenly, everything is gorging and hoarding food."

"Same every time, from my observations. As for what it's...indicating? Transmitting to? Just the sea." Glitch sniffs and shakes his head. Ew, ocean. "Well, I suppose the 'horizon,' if you can call it that. There may or may not be an island out there."

Oh how he hopes not, not ever reliving that again.

The information about the animals piques his interest, and he blinks. "The ones in the forest? That's interesting, wonder what--"

And then he gets interruped.

...by one Emma Swan, who is perched at the bar.

"What about the bone thing? Our fetch-playing friend?" Hi Metody, hiii, she's looking right at you all raised eyebrows. "Have you seen it around any more, doing anything weird?"

Sorry pal. If it helps there is a touch of genuine curiosity there.

Oh, no, the scary lady! Metody flinches and gives her a wide eyed stare, pale, then jolts out of it.

"S-sorry, I didn't see you there. The- the Lost Dog? Um....I've seen him - well - them around. It's a bit difficult to tell them apart visually. I think a -" don't call out a nest, vermin live in nests, "- some of them live in my cave. They seem a little on edge, I guess? When they see me, they just want to play and follow me around. They carry things if you ask."

His eyes flick back to Glitch. "Animals can pick up on signals that people are too sophisticated to detect. Big events and bad weather ma them nervous."

"Um. Why don't we send a little robot with a camera on a raft in that direction?"

Thus far during the course of this meeting, one person has stayed near completely silent, watching the goings-on as if he's seen it all before. Maybe he has, or maybe he just has that look about him. The rude interruptions, the rebuttal, well - they do not overly concern him, though he may make a point of buying Mr Long a cup of tea after these tentative proceedings are done.

Now, however, he rakes his eyes first over the woman that smells of magic, from top to bottom, then, eyes then slitting towards the pretty, pale little one who obviously knows more than he's willing to say; he takes a step forward, interjecting himself into the discussion and raising his voice ever so slightly above the background din.

"The bone creature, for which we have no name of yet, has taken up residence underground. It is a peaceful breed, which has shown me nothing but courtesy as it understands the concept. It is irrelevant to these talks of ours."

Oh, but Metody, you are pinned by a pair of yellow, red-rimmed irises, even as Nuada gives the faintest of nods to Glitch. Apologies in that direction, and here, blatant scrutiny.

"A robot, you say? Please elaborate."

Metody had noticed Nuada, but he'd stayed well away; he wasn't quite sure what the tall man was, but his bearing suggested trouble. When Nuada takes his gaze over him, Metody drops his eyes.

"An automaton? Something that can go and look without exposing one of our number to danger. The cold will be worse on the water, after all, and there are - probably there are predators."
