[ Voice ]
[She finds the voice option comforting somehow; the anonymity allows her to feel less vulnerable and helpless, given the question she's posing to the people at large]
C-Can anyone recommend a good way to stop nightmares? Or at least...manage them, somehow?
[She knows magical ways to quell the disturbing dreamscapes she's been having of late, but she prefers to try something more natural. For now, at least]

[She's quiet for a moment, too, trying to word it in such a way that it doesn't sound like an act of sympathy]
Well, you-you were at the gathering, Buffy and Xander already know you and like you, and you're...there's a connection. Between us. You, and us-the Scoobies. Because of the supernatural stuff? It would be good, for all of us, like an...alliance?
[Oh, now she just sounds silly]
It's nice, I mean, to have a group. A-A team.

[It doesn't sound too bad, and hey, Dean never said that he wasn't considering it. It's a good thing Tara words it the way she does; if it'd sounded anything like a charity case, he would've refused it point-blank.]
Alliances never work too good back where I'm from. People usually die, and I'm not really all that into watching friends kick the bucket.
[Buuuut, Dean has no Sam, and there's only so much of being by himself that he can take.]
Other than that, teams are good. I don't see why you'd want me there, but if you're not pulling my leg... yeah. Sure. Why not?

[But, yay, he agreed. This makes her feel better!]
I-I make really good pancakes. And we can all trade monster and demon stories?
no subject
Pancakes, huh? You really know how to reel a guy in. [Dean teases gently.]

Xander likes food, so...
Do you-do you like plain pancakes, or flavored? Um, chocolate chip? Blueberry?

[Then, of course, she remembers who she's talking to]
Or, we could listen to music all day.
[She pauses again. Did she let it slip that she does spells? Whoops]
no subject
[He likes the sound of music all day, though.]
Hey, as long as it's good music, I'm fine with it.
no subject
[That is a point near and dear to her, given her history with Willow]
Good music is-is older music, I think.
no subject
Oh yeah? Older like what? [Because Dean totally agrees, obviously.]
no subject
[It's probably why she's so genuinely peaceful and mellow most of the time, really]
Older, like...The Beatles. The Rolling Stones. The Who. And-and even older, too. I like jazz, swing.
no subject
Good taste in music, too. Rolling Stones' one of my favorites. Led Zeppelin, too, definitely.
no subject
[She's half-kidding, of course, which he would know if he could see the slight smirk on her face]
I haven't heard much by them. Led Zeppelin.
no subject
Whoah whoah whoah, haven't heard much Zep? ... This calls for a study session. I gotta teach you the classics.
no subject
The study session--it could go well with...blueberry pancakes?
no subject
Definitely could. Probably should. Nothing like relaxing with food and Zep. [Dean drawls, grin still apparent in his voice.]
