Oh-oh, yeah. Sorry. I've been around just them for so long, I forget...yes, the Scoobies: Buffy, me, everyone.

[She's quiet for a moment, too, trying to word it in such a way that it doesn't sound like an act of sympathy]

Well, you-you were at the gathering, Buffy and Xander already know you and like you, and you're...there's a connection. Between us. You, and us-the Scoobies. Because of the supernatural stuff? It would be good, for all of us, like an...alliance?

[It doesn't sound too bad, and hey, Dean never said that he wasn't considering it. It's a good thing Tara words it the way she does; if it'd sounded anything like a charity case, he would've refused it point-blank.]

Alliances never work too good back where I'm from. People usually die, and I'm not really all that into watching friends kick the bucket.

[Buuuut, Dean has no Sam, and there's only so much of being by himself that he can take.]

Other than that, teams are good. I don't see why you'd want me there, but if you're not pulling my leg... yeah. Sure. Why not?

I think...if we didn't have our team, the way we are, we all would have died a long time ago. But it-it's different. For everyone.

I-I might be able to find a spell, for a garden? We could grow fresh fruit? If we're going to be stuck here for a while, it might be a good hobby.

Maybe. [Pause] Though I try to reserve spells for-for only when necessary. Magic is...powerful, it shouldn't be taken lightly.

I know. I-I can't stop people like that, but I try my best to...to make them realize that magic isn't a game. And I can only control what I do with magic. I respect it, and use it when I have to. And I actually...I prefer studying Wicca more than anything, b-being in tune with nature and the universe.

[It's probably why she's so genuinely peaceful and mellow most of the time, really]

Older, like...The Beatles. The Rolling Stones. The Who. And-and even older, too. I like jazz, swing.

[She's still smiling; Tara isn't sure anyone's called her 'kiddo' before, except perhaps Xander, on a rare occasion. It's nice, actually, and she already feels a connection with Dean]
