[action: location: sanctuary hallways]
Being cooped up in the Sanctuary didn't do Rose any favours. If she was able to go outside the building and escape, then she wouldn't feel this trapped. It also meant that she could feed on the animals in order to satisfy her hunger. Rose still felt sick; she was pale, clammy and her vision was clouded. The pain was beyond unbearable and she knew that it would continue like this until she was put out of her misery.
Opening the door of her room, Rose ventured outside into the hallway and headed towards the kitchen. She knew that there was blood there from keeping an eye on the network and maybe it would be enough for now. To keep her from hurting people. When she got there, she realised that most of it was gone. Letting out a roar of anger, Rose slammed her fist on the counter, cracking it a little before she fell to the ground, willing herself not to think about what was happening to her.
Then she heard something. A voice. It was a little far away from her but it was distinctive.
Katherine.
That bitch.
Rose had wanted to confront her ever since she arrived in Taxon and now she had the opportunity to. Katherine would pay for what she did. She deserved it. Pushing herself up from the floor, Rose headed out of the kitchen, snarling as she did, determined to find the other vampire. Her fangs were bared and she was furious, prowling around the halls of the sanctuary, with one singular goal in mind.
Find Katherine and make her suffer.
Rose was adamant in her search for Katherine, not caring who came across her path. It kept her focused and made it easier for her not to slip into the inevitable madness. She was in so much pain and feral; just like she was back in Mystic Falls when she killed those three people at the high school. Sometimes, she lapsed in and out of hallucinations, seeing things that weren't there as well as hearing them. Rose pushes those thoughts away and continues to look, listening out for any signs of the other vampire.
Little did she know that it was Elena that she was stalking instead.
((ooc: And so begins the second and last part of Rose's glitch! Have fun!))

Rose can hear the blood pumping in his veins and she's dying for a taste, leaning in closer before she appears behind Kurt suddenly, placing a hand on his shoulder. "If you scream or cry for help, I'll kill you." Her hand slides up to the back of his head, tilting it to the side and exposing his neck. Rose brings her other arm around his front to hold them there so that he can't escape.
"This won't hurt a bit." It's a lie but Rose doesn't care. The veins appear beneath her eyes, fangs exposed as she sinks them into his neck.

He gasps sharply when the fangs break his skin, mind whiting out for a few seconds until he realizes what is happening. Not wanting to make the pain worse, he keeps his neck fairly still so he doesn't tear something on her teeth while he pulls at her arm, trying to get her to release him.

It flips a switch and she's feral again, biting even deeper into his neck.
His blood is like nectar to her, satisfying the hunger that burned within her body. Rose can feel him tugging on her arm which only makes her grip tighten even more; she could drain Kurt easily and not care about the consequences. Or, she could only take a little bit of blood then compel him to forget. So many choices...

When Rose's teeth sink in even deeper, he barely catches his yelp. Kurt can hear his own pulse hammering in his ears from what he can only guess is hypovolemic shock and he can feel tears welling up in his eyes because he is pretty sure he is going to die regardless of what he does now. He quickly resorts to thrashing, elbows everywhere, kicking and stomping blindly even though his uncontrolled movements make the pain in his neck much worse. He manages to find his voice and hisses angrily, "let me go!"

When Rose had required blood over the centuries, she never killed anyone, just took enough to survive for a period of time until her next feed. She had access to blood bags and the occasional animal here, so she didn't need to drink from a human. It was a good arrangement for Rose.
But his blood was fresh and warm, something that she hadn't had in a while and Rose savoured every last drop as she slowly drained the life from him. She knew that he would get weaker until he would just stop moving altogether.
His sudden movements draw Rose out of her feeding frenzy, appealing to the little humanity that she had left within her and she stops drinking from him, retracting her fangs and lets go, moving away from Kurt.
"Run," she gasps. "Before it's too late."

He drags himself towards the wall and struggles to his feet. Running is out of the question for him, but he is determined to at least hobble to safety.

But the pain is almost too much to bear as she sinks down to the floor, leaning against the wall and crying out. Rose draws her knees to herself, trying to recover before she finds the strength to get up again. Kurt would be safe for now.
