[action: location: sanctuary hallways]

Being cooped up in the Sanctuary didn't do Rose any favours. If she was able to go outside the building and escape, then she wouldn't feel this trapped. It also meant that she could feed on the animals in order to satisfy her hunger. Rose still felt sick; she was pale, clammy and her vision was clouded. The pain was beyond unbearable and she knew that it would continue like this until she was put out of her misery.

Opening the door of her room, Rose ventured outside into the hallway and headed towards the kitchen. She knew that there was blood there from keeping an eye on the network and maybe it would be enough for now. To keep her from hurting people. When she got there, she realised that most of it was gone. Letting out a roar of anger, Rose slammed her fist on the counter, cracking it a little before she fell to the ground, willing herself not to think about what was happening to her.

Then she heard something. A voice. It was a little far away from her but it was distinctive.

Katherine.

That bitch.

Rose had wanted to confront her ever since she arrived in Taxon and now she had the opportunity to. Katherine would pay for what she did. She deserved it. Pushing herself up from the floor, Rose headed out of the kitchen, snarling as she did, determined to find the other vampire. Her fangs were bared and she was furious, prowling around the halls of the sanctuary, with one singular goal in mind.

Find Katherine and make her suffer.

Rose was adamant in her search for Katherine, not caring who came across her path. It kept her focused and made it easier for her not to slip into the inevitable madness. She was in so much pain and feral; just like she was back in Mystic Falls when she killed those three people at the high school. Sometimes, she lapsed in and out of hallucinations, seeing things that weren't there as well as hearing them. Rose pushes those thoughts away and continues to look, listening out for any signs of the other vampire.

Little did she know that it was Elena that she was stalking instead.

((ooc: And so begins the second and last part of Rose's glitch! Have fun!))

Having overheard some of Rose's anger in the kitchen from out in the halls, Kurt is content to just keep moving and not get tangled in whatever mess was brewing inside. But she quickly storms back into the halls and he manages to catch the look on her face and the way she looks ready to just pass out by the time she reached the end of the hall. From peeking into the kitchen and seeing no one there, he has a hunch she was having some sort of hypoglycemic, why-is-there-no-good-food-in-this-house double whammy episode. He's dealt with enough picky eaters and girls' low blood sugar tantrums alike to know both--but neither is a good reason to flip out like that.

Kurt normally doesn't do the good Samaritan thing where he stops and asks some stranger if they need help. Even less so nowadays in Taxon where there was always something off about most people. But sometimes people just look enough out of sorts that he can't help it. Especially not Rose after watching her stumble along for a few cautious moments.

"Hey!" he tails along, careful to keep just out of arms reach, "are you going to be okay?"

Elena's on the third floor, looking for something quick to bring back to her room. Just a snack or something to drink, she's not terribly hungry anyway. She's too stressed out about things to think much about eating, and her worry's only been amplified by the time spent in the Sanctuary. She's still angry about Katherine having gone to see Jenna, whether it was a pre-meditated meeting or not, and she's still worried about Stefan, even though she's no longer feeling concerned or doubtful about his feelings towards her. But since they've confirmed that to each other, she's now worried about what will happen if Katherine ever finds out, which means she hasn't said a word about it to anyone else, at least not yet. Everything's become a complicated mess, even more of one, if that were possible, and she's just trying to hold herself together, to do what she can to protect the people she cares about.

She finds a bottle of juice and takes it back with her, coming out of the dining area and heading towards the elevator, with no clue or worry that she could be being followed.

"Didn't you listen to the Angel Beast?" snapped Drusilla, her eyes flashing angrily. She didn't particular care about the relationship between the human prisoners and the vampiric prisoners, but he did. That was the only thing that really mattered.

(Besides, they couldn't run from a mob when they were trapped inside a city. There was nowhere to hide. If the ship sank, they'd have to sink with it.)

"He wants us to make friends."

He wanted them to make friends and she was walking out with her fangs flashing.

All these extra people in the normally-quiet Sanctuary had lent a more-irritable-than-usual slant to Puck's already sullen mood. No amount of trying had admitted him out of the barrier which surrounding the building, on top of being locked out of the room he was used to and randomly assigned another one.

A loud bang in the kitchen just a little further up the hall was interesting... though not as interesting as the the stalking woman it discharged a few moments later.

For a man who lived for two people for almost two hundred years, Damon's loyalties are frustratingly divided now. It should be simple. Force Elena to heal, then stay there and pretend not to worry. Maybe get disgustingly close to drunk. Instead, he finds himself making excuses and ending up outside Rose's room without much thought put into where he's going.

"Open up." He leans his forehead against the cool metal of the door for a moment, then straightens. "Rose, open the goddamn door or I'll find a way to break it, and we'll all be outed."
