II: [ Accidental Voice ] Magic Hour
[ There's a sound of pages rustling. With everything that has happened in Taxon - dangerous vampires running amok, crazy people bombing everything regardless of intentions or who they'd hurt - Piper feels as though she should do something. She consults The Book of Shadows and while she's not sure it will work, she decides to give it a try. ]
In this night and in this hour
I call upon the Ancient Power
Heed my words, I beseech thee.
In this circle that is our home
protect us from the evils that roam
And ensure our safety.
[ she waits for something to happen - but after a pathetic puff of smoke in the air, nothing did. She sighs.] Right. Of course that won't work.

Re: [Visual]
She spoke with genuine affection for her friend, but her expression betrayed the residual anger she felt for the Doctor.
"As normal as it can be in a prison."
And what counted as normal, anyway? In her own world, DG was fighting for survival and fighting to save a country from an evil witch. To most people, that would sound like something out of a fairytale.

It is an understandable question, but it can be as difficult to answer as it is to ask. However, DG is fiercely protective of Glitch. If she tells Piper what happened, then he won't have to dwell on what happened to him.
"It's a long story. In our world, he used to be the queen's adviser. He stayed loyal to her ..." - to my mother - "... even after she was overthrown." There was no need to go into the details of Azkadellia and the witch and their relationships to each other, so DG skipped over that section of the story. "When Glitch wouldn't give the new ruler the information she wanted, she had to go straight to the source." DG paused, hating the story, hating the witch and hating what had happened to the O.Z. "She took the information she wanted right out his head."

At that moment, she absolutely hated that heartless person who did that to Glitch. "Is it... is it permanent?"
[Visual]
She wasn't sure how the process worked, and, consequently, had no way of knowing if it could be reversed. However, the fact that Azkadellia had taken the information she needed and left Glitch alive suggested that it was permanent. The witch wasn't the sort of person to leave loose ends. If there was a chance - even a slim chance - that his memories could be restored, then he'd probably be dead.
"Probably," she concluded, "The aliens did give him his brain back for a while, but it was just a glitch."
